Advantech AMT Launches Powerful Satellite Signal Analyzer, Built-in to DVB-S2 Receiver
Montreal, Canada, September 7th, 2007. Advantech AMT, a manufacturer of satellite and terrestrial wireless communication equipment with corporate headquarters in Montreal, Canada, are today proud to announce the launch of a signal analyzer as a built-in option for their high performance DVB-S2 satellite demodulator products. This saves satellite communication system operators time, money and space, by providing a powerful analyzer within the demodulator itself, available via a web-style interface using any standard Internet browser.
Mobile users, such as news gatherers, will particularly find the new feature a great help by saving on the space and weight required to transport a separate signal analyzer. Plus, the Advantech AMT analyzer is able to provide analysis of not only the spectrum, but also the constellation and statistics regarding DVB transport streams.
By using a modular approach, up to four different views can be seen at the same time and are completely customizable by the user. Also displayed are key pieces of status information regarding the demodulator, such as the Bit Error Rate (BER) being experienced.
